Refund policy

  1. Eligibility for Returns:

    • Items must be returned within 14 days of purchase.

    • The product must be unused, in its original condition, with all packaging and labels intact.

    • Electrical items that have been installed, used, or modified are not eligible for return, unless faulty.

    • Custom orders or special-order items are non-returnable unless they are faulty.

  2. Non-Returnable Items Include:

    • Clearance or sale items

    • Cut-to-length cables or wires

    • Opened electrical components (e.g., circuit breakers, switches)

    • Installed or modified items

Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA)

As per New Zealand’s Consumer Guarantees Act, you are entitled to a remedy if the products you purchased are faulty, unsafe, or do not perform as they should. This may include a repair, replacement, or refund based on the nature of the fault.

How to Return an Item

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Contact us at hello@omegaelectrical.co.nz with your order number, product details, and reason for the return.

  2. Return Shipping: We will guide you through the return process. We will cover return shipping if the product is faulty or supplied in error. Otherwise, return shipping will be at your cost.

  3. Packaging: Ensure that the product is securely packaged to avoid damage during return shipping. We are not responsible for returns that arrive damaged.

Refunds

  1. Refund Processing: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you about the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

  2. Refund Delays: If you haven’t received your refund within the expected time frame, please check with your bank or card issuer, as processing times may vary.

Exchanges

If your product is defective or damaged, please contact us for an exchange. We will replace the item at no additional cost, subject to stock availability.

Shipping Costs

  • Faulty or Incorrect Items: We will cover return shipping for faulty or incorrectly supplied items.

  • Change of Mind Returns: Shipping costs for change of mind returns are the responsibility of the customer. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
